class, because of her physical condition and the
12 pills a day that she use to take for the
heart, well 5 years later, she takes one or two
pills a day and she weight less then what she
weighed in 1944 when she married the late Coach
Lerma, can I cook or can I cook, can I bring some
one back from bad conditions to great health or
what, if an 86 year old woman can regain her
health with us, who wants to be next.

9Is it Exercise?
- Yes, it is a workout not just physically but
mentally.

Elementary for these past couple of months have
been encouraging and supportive of one another.

- Salsa has been a positive way to cope with
stress. Mentally, stressors are looked at and
handled differently.

because it releases the stress

- I have enjoyed the salsa classes very much, I
really enjoy dancing, and participating in the
Wellness program .I have learned a lot, and have

- Very few times Ive participated in wellness
programs through the district because they are
sports related and I have felt that I am in no
condition to participate. I am sure glad I
joined this one. I knew I could dance somewhat.
