• He not only received 33 medals from the USA, but
  also received decorations from Belgium and French
  Armies.
• He later became a famous actor and played in over
  40 movies until he died in a tragic plane crash.

• He started his career as an actor when he

• After the attack on Pearl Harbor,( he was 15) he
  had tried to enlist in the military.
• Because of his age he couldnt but when he turned
  16, his sister Corinne adjusted his birth date so
  he appeared to be 18.
• He was then accepted into the United States Army.
