AphasiaBank Research Study

• Purpose This study is designed to create an
  international multimedia database for the study
  of language and communication in aphasia
• Participants Persons with aphasia needed!
• Tasks Describe and name pictures, tell stories,
  tell how to make a peanut butter and jelly
  sandwich, repeat words and sentences, answer
  questions, follow directions
• Important You will be videotape recorded while
  you are doing these tasks. The videotape (along
  with information about your stroke) will be put
  in a web-based (Internet) database. The database
  (called AphasiaBank) is password protected and
  only language researchers have access to it. You
  will be identified by code name no one will
  know your name or other contact information
  (address, phone number, etc).
