News Release Journey to Freedom The Passaic High
School NJROTC will be hosting their change of
command ceremony, Wednesday, June 4, 2003 at 930
am. Their presentation will include students from
Grant No. 7, who became part of history in the
war against terrorism, by supporting the 82nd
Airborne Division stationed in Kandahar,
Afghanistan. Ms. Dragos class supported the
soldiers through e-mail, video-email, written
correspondence and care packages. In
appreciation for their support and love, the 82nd
Airborne honored Ms. Dragos students with
pictures of their tour, certificates signed by
their commanders and the American flag which flew
over their base. The students will present a
short multimedia presentation documenting their
learning experiences entitled Journey to
Freedom a reflection on What it means to be an
