21IRIS CM Questions
- Question
- Will faculty be able to import grades from
Blackboard into myUK?
22IRIS CM Questions
- Answer
- Faculty who are currently using Blackboard for
Spring 2007 courses will be able to import final
grades from the Blackboard environment into myUK
portal during the final grading period. This
process will be handled with the click of a
button and in real time. Grades must be
validated to make sure entries are valid for the
student/course combination. Once grades are
validated, grades are electronically submitted to
the Registrars Office and will be electronically
posted to the students records.
23IRIS CM Questions
- Question
- Will there be a way to access student and course
enrollment history based on a set of specific
criteria and/or attributes in Campus Management?
24IRIS CM Questions
- Answer
- Kathy Crouch, the Business Warehouse Team lead,
will give a brief update on the status of
reporting.
25IRIS CM Questions
- Question
- Opportunities for identification theft are
abundant. Every student currently has an issued
WildCard Student ID with a unique number. Why
cant UK implement the use of the student ID
number in place of Social Security number?
26IRIS CM Questions
- Answer
- With the implementation of IRIS, the university
will move away from using the SSN as the key
identifier on student records. A system-assigned
8-digit ID number will be used instead. Karen
Doyle from the UK ID Office is here to talk about
changes for the UK ID.
