- Arrive at our hotel, Hotel Adler, at 16.15 to
enjoy our first meal together -

- Visit to Marksburg Castle during the morning

- A ride on the Boppard Chairlift

- A morning visit to Ehrenbreitstein Fortress
Followed by a visit to the Koll Cie Vineyard
825th June, 2009
- A full day visit to Trier, the oldest town in
Germany
9During the evening we will enjoy a night out at
the Bowling Centre in Koblenz

- A day visiting Lorelei and then onto Rudesheim
- Followed by a visit to Siegfrieds Musikkabinett
- And finally a boat trip on The Rhine

14CHECKLIST
- Medication if needed
- Sun-cream
- Hat or baseball cap
- Camera
- Small amount of sterling and Euros
- Snacks and drinks for outward journey
- Sensible shoes will be required.
- Waterproof coat and fleece
- One semi-formal outfit e.g. trousers rather than
jeans for restaurant visits - German dictionary
- Survival guide (to be given out on departure)
15MEDICATION
- Please ensure that any medication your student
needs is packed in advance. - Any spare medication such as asthma pumps may be
handed to - Frau Burbidge before or on the day of departure.
16PERSONAL ITEMS
- Mobile phones may be brought but please check, in
advance, that they will work in Germany. - Cameras and personal stereos/MP3s may also be
brought (with European adaptor as appropriate).
Please note that these items are the
responsibility of the student, and are not
covered by the school insurance.
17CLOTHES
- The weather in Germany in June can be changeable
and students should be suitably prepared!

Please make sure all luggage is labelled with
your name, address and travel details

19Photo id requirements
The only acceptable form of photo-id on P O
Ferries is a valid passport.
20- Please inform me of any difference between
passport name and school name - Please hand in passport and european health
insurance card tonight if possible.
