• OP 3.2.2.1 Employ Psychological Operations
  (PSYOP) in the Joint Operations Area
• Plan and execute operations to convey selected
  information and indicators to foreign audiences
  in the operational area to influence their
  emotions, motives, objective reasoning, and
  ultimately the behavior of foreign governments,
  organizations, groups, and individuals.
  Psychological operations (PSYOP) actions are
  aimed at making the adversary leadership,
  military personnel, or population modify their
  behavior in ways that are favorable to US or
  allied/coalition efforts in the operation area.
  PSYOP consolidation activities are planned
  activities across the range of military
  operations directed at the civilian population
  located in areas under friendly control in order
