Commitment to
  • Clear Vision
  • Teamwork
  • Real Sacrifice

3
Sacrificial Giving
  • 1. Is Recorded by the Keeper of Accounts.
  • Mark 1241-42 41 Jesus sat down opposite the
place where the offerings were put and watched
the crowd putting their money into the temple
treasury. Many rich people threw in large
amounts. 42 But a poor widow came and put in two
very small copper coins, worth only a fraction of
    a penny.
  • Jesus Watched
  • The Crowd, the Rich People, the Poor Widow

4
  • Hosea 136 When I fed them, they were satisfied
when they were satisfied, they became proud then
    they forgot me.

5
Sacrificial Giving
  • 2. Involves Faith put into Action.
  • Mark 1243-44 43 Calling his disciples to him,
Jesus said, "I tell you the truth, this poor
widow has put more into the treasury than all the
others. 44 They all gave out of their wealth but
she, out of her poverty, put in everything--all
    she had to live on."

6
  • Matthew 619-21 19 "Do not store up for
yourselves treasures on earth, where moth and
rust destroy, and where thieves break in and
steal. 20 But store up for yourselves treasures
in heaven, where moth and rust do not destroy,
and where thieves do not break in and steal. 21
For where your treasure is, there your heart will
    be also.

7
Faith put into Action
  • The Principle of Faith Promise giving.
  • 2 Corinthians 95 So I thought it necessary to
urge the brothers to visit you in advance and
finish the arrangements for the generous gift you
had promised. Then it will be ready as a generous
gift, not as one grudgingly given.

8
Faith put into Action
  • The Principle of Faith Promise giving.
  • The Principle of Sowing and Reaping.
  • 2 Corinthians 96-8 6 Remember this Whoever sows
sparingly will also reap sparingly, and whoever
sows generously will also reap generously. 7 Each
man should give what he has decided in his heart
to give, not reluctantly or under compulsion, for
God loves a cheerful giver. 8 And God is able to
make all grace abound to you, so that in all
things at all times, having all that you need,
you will abound in every good work.

9
You Always
Luke 638 Give, and it will be given to you. A
good measure, pressed down, shaken together and
running over, will be poured into your lap. For
with the measure you use, it will be measured to
you."
  • Reap what you Sow.
  • Reap more than you Sow.
  • Reap later than you Sow.

10
Faith put into Action
  • The Principle of Faith Promise giving.
  • The Principle of Sowing and Reaping.
  • The Principle of Never Out Giving the Lord.
  • 2 Corinthians 910-11 10 Now he(God) who supplies
seed to the sower and bread for food will also
supply and increase your store of seed and will
enlarge the harvest of your righteousness. 11 You
will be made rich in every way so that you can be
generous on every occasion, and through us your
generosity will result in thanksgiving to God.

11
  • Malachi 38-12 8 "Will a man rob God? Yet you rob
me. "But you ask, 'How do we rob you?' "In tithes
and offerings. 9 You are under a curse--the whole
nation of you--because you are robbing me. 10
Bring the whole tithe into the storehouse, that
there may be food in my house. Test me in this,"
says the LORD Almighty, "and see if I will not
throw open the floodgates of heaven and pour out
so much blessing that you will not have room
    enough for it.

Sacrificial Giving

    Savior.
