Domain mapping methodology

• Gather information
• Use systems techniques to aid our understanding
• Use the Unified Modeling Language sic diagrams
  to capture processes
• Create a knowledge base in Protégé
• Develop a way to show others the map
• Create as is and future systems (S0 and S1)
• Release it into the community
• Refine, iterate, develop, and so on
• At each stage validate with practitioners
• (in a perfect world)

• Permit exploration
• Aid understanding and insight
• Have easy navigation to find relevant information
  quickly
• Place things in context
