  • Johanna works all day Monday and Tuesday and
    Wednesday morning.
  • Ms. Nichols works Wednesday afternoon and all
    day Thursday and Friday.

Expectations
  • In other words
  • You can do anything you want to as long as it
    doesnt cause a problem for you, us (teachers),
    or anyone else.
  • - Love and Logic

But if you cause a problem
  • We will ask you to solve it.
  • If you dont solve it, then we will make choices
    for you, and what we do depends on the situation
    and the student. here are our steps

A Teacher will guide a student with
  • Non-verbal indicator
  • Verbal redirection
  • Action Apology
  • Complete at recess/ in Den
  • PARENTS/Guardians SIGN
  • Time out may be in or out of class
  • Referral
  • Mr. Baldwin, Parents / Guardians called.

Birthday Celebrations
  • One birthday party per month for all of the
    students who had a birthday that month (students
    with summer birthdays can pick one month during
    the school year to celebrate their birthday).
  • Parties are held on the last Friday of the month
  • Students plan the party and bring in the supplies
    for their month.

  • Improve reading and comprehension skills.
  • Read a variety of genres (fiction, poetry,
    information)
  • Discuss thoughts and present ideas.
  • Writing
  • Expand writing content and expect conventions.
  • Use writing to narrate stories, present
