4I. New American Colony Advertisement Activity
- On a large sheet of paper that I will provide
you, you will create an advertisement poster for
a New American Colony. Please include the
following for a 40 point grade. - 1. A large drawing that would depict life in
North America, you have to include a Jamestown
Fort (pg. 62-63), early colonists in their style
of clothing (Movie, and page 58, 65), a Ship (pg.
59,66), Native Americans (pg. 60), A map like on
page 62), the drawing has color. - 2. Include a description of each image (found on
the page numbers where you found your things to
draw). - 3. On the lower part of your paper, include the
4 boxes of information from Graphic Organizer Ch.
3 sec. 1 (The Spanish Armada, the Lost Colony of
Roanoke, the Virginia Colony, and Jamestown
Survives) With that information add Why each
aspect provides the potential colonists a reason
to move over to the New Colony. - 4. Make a title and Name for you Jointstock
Company. - 5. Provide a drawing of your company charter.

into 5 boxes. - 2.) Label each box one of the following 1.The
Far North-Purple, - 2.The Pacific Coast (Northwest,Plateau, Great
Basin, California)-Blue, 3.The West and
Southwest(Great Plains, Southwest)-Red, 4.The
Great Plains-Orange, and - 5. The East (East and Northeast and
Southeast)- Green - 3.) In each box, find a way to describe the 5
cultural characteristics listed below by using
