FCBA Internship Requirements
  • Work a minimum of 150 hours per semester.
  • 2.0 minimum overall GPA
  • Minimum of Sophomore standing
  • Internship can be paid or unpaid
  • Work experience must be supervised
  • Appears on transcript as a Pass/Fail (P/F) course

Register Your Internship
  • Must register BEFORE completing internship.
  • Internship registration and/or credit is not
    retroactive.
  • BUS 201
  • First time internship registration regardless of
    class status.
  • Section 01 Full-time work hours
  • Section 02 Part-time work hours
  • BUS 301
  • Second/subsequent internship registration
  • Section 01 Full-time work hours
  • Section 02 Part-time work hours
  • Declare credit hours
  • 0-6 hours of total FCBA elective credit hours
    available. Number of credit hours eligible to
    receive is determined on number of hours worked
    per semester Advisor determines.

Student Responsibilities

    guaranteed a position

    organizations application policies

Ethics in Your Search
  • Maintain accuracy and honesty on resume and in an
    interview
  • Attend scheduled interviews on time
  • Accept or reject offers in a timely manner
  • Never renege on acceptances
  • Report inappropriate behavior on behalf of the
    employers to the SCC

Ethics on the Job
  • Arrive in a timely manner and give notices of
    absences via telephone
  • Do not use company email/telephone/office
    supplies for personal reasons
  • Do not visit chat rooms, download music, or view
    Internet sites during work hours
  • Keep your supervisor updated with your activities
    on a regular basis
