• Legacy KCC tumor bank web-database application
  for frozen breast tissue.
• Data elements encompass patient demographics,
  family/medical history,lifestyle, tumor bank
  data, surgical pathology data.
• Web-based database application
• Stand-alone paraffin tissue archive maintained
  by Pathology department (simple Excel spreadsheet
  data management).
• KCC committed to Linux/Apache/PostgreSQL for
  servers.

TJU Integration Plan for caTIES

• Apply caTIES (and De-ID) to recent subset of
  ALL Jefferson Hospital surgical pathology
  reports.
• Project scope will include paraffin tissue
  archive and subsequently frozen breast tissue
  bank.
• Integrate caTIES into our breast tissue bank
  environment by creating links to our legacy
  application.
• Utilize legacy application and caTISSUE CORE
  for annotation not in caTIES scope
