• In 606 BC- King Nebuchanezzar of Babylon came to
  take over Jerusalem. He carried off some of the
  best things from the city and took them back to
  Babylon.

people too.Young people who were

Smart,

Strong,

And even stronger,

And able to serve in the Kings palace.

Daniel aka Belteshazzar,

Hananiah aka Shadrach,

Mishael aka Meshach,

and Azariah aka Abednego.

They were to eat food from the kings table, but
Daniel decided not to eat these foods since they
were against Gods laws.

The Lord caused the official assigned to the four
men to have sympathy.

better nourished.

When the king brought them in, he found them to
be ten times better than all the magicians and
enchantments in the whole kingdom.
