Budget Summary

• 79,200 to acquire 75 new Cognos Query Studio
  product licenses and upgrade 75 existing licenses
• 35,200 for Cognos Developer Consultant
• 34,560 for Cognos project support developer and
  post-project maintenance
• OAAIS and SOM Deans Office will provide staff
  time in support of this project.

• Productivity enhancement more time for analysis
  rather than data extraction and manipulation
• Proof of concept for future expansion of Cognos
  as a data management tool.
• Common platform will facilitate sharing of
  information and establishment of best practices
  across campus
• Reduce burden on OAAIS to provide unfunded Ad Hoc
