    hours in a number of ways including

  • -weekday evening hours
  • -weekend hours

Culminating Activities
  • Comprehensive Exam
  • Written examination taken at the end of the
    program
  • Includes a case scenario and open-ended questions
    that allow you to display your skills at writing,
    critical thinking, analyses, and application of
    theory to practice
  • Students have two opportunities to pass the exam
  • The Professional Seminar class, in particular,
    along with all other courses will aid students in
    preparation for the exam

Leadership (C-REAL)
  • Involves a partnership between local educational
    agencies, schools, and colleges along with CSUF
    doctoral faculty and graduate students
  • Outcomes include dissemination of findings
    through publications and presentations.
  • Research on local educational problems in K-12
    and Community Colleges that is systemic and
    solution focused
  • Research includes program intervention
    effectiveness, assessment and evaluation

  • earned baccalaureate degree from accredited
    institutions of higher education with a GPA in
    upper division of 3.0 or above
  • b. demonstrated educational leadership potential
    and skills including successful experience in
    school, college or the community
