Closing Thoughts

• BRAC 05 will see a net gain of 4500 permanent
  party military and DA Civilians at Ft Knox with a
  positive economic impact on the region.
• The Great Inhale has begun (before we exhale)..
• 3-1 IBCT has arrived, is established and
  growing
• Between Aug 2009 and Oct 2011 more than 1,400
  people will be hired to fill HRCoE DAC
  vacanciesmany from outside the system, and even
  more contractors
• Human Resources Command advanced party has moved
  into its facility in E-town and has started
  hiring
• BRAC is On Track at Ft Knox Brick and Mortar
• USAARMC is preparing to move to Ft Benning in
  late FY10 and FY11
• Yes..it is really happening!
