AT RequirementsProcedures

• Member reviews and selects requirement on
  MEDRUPMIS program .
• OSO
• NOBC/NEC verified and matches the requirement to
  the member
• Requests credentials
• OSO generates list and forwards to each
  directorate and or Department of inbound
  reservist, noting sub specialty code and members
  preferences
• Officers - require not observed Fitreps (for over
  10 days), input required by HRM prior to member
  checking out
• Enlisted - PIM, performance information memo

Recalled Reserve Backfill

• BUMED only approved for a set number of Reserve
  Recalls by OPNAV.
• If you are recalled you will be on active duty
  for one year.
• If there is no longer a backfill requirement at
  NHCP BUMED will modify the UIC on the orders and
  you will be transferred to complete your recall.
• You Can Request a Second Year on Active Duty.

Recalled Reserve Backfill

• If you would like to be recalled please ensure
  that you MAS code is current.
• If you have already been recalled and would like
  to be recalled a second time a request can be
  submitted to be recalled a second time.
• You can also volunteer on the BUPERS web site,
  but will still need to submit the form.
• Two year grace period if you have be recalled
  once already?
• Currently Reserve Members are serving stateside
  unless it is specifically a reserve mission.

The Way Ahead

• Get your AT Requirements in Early--Avoid the May
  rush!
• Fleet Hospital Training 11-18 June 05.
• 2nd ATs likely.
• For FY 05 we would like to align our AT support
  plan more closely with the reserve budget.
• Apply slate for FY05 coming out soon.
• Empty billets on the RUAD are filled with IAPs,
  but not yet on the RUAD.
• Unfunded billets?
• The RLO/OSO web site will have conference info.
