3THE LANGUAGE EXPOSURE Our multi-cultural society
and the reality of affordable overseas travel
provide strong incentive for learning a foreign
language. South Australias established links
with Germany and Japan, rapidly growing numbers
of German and Japanese speaking visitors to
Australia and the increasing importance of German
and Japanese internationally in such fields as
commerce, finance, tourism, hospitality,
manufacture, electronics and science, are all
compelling reasons for the study of a second
language. Learning German and Japanese at
secondary level gives students an excellent
knowledge of the language for both immediate and
future use in a wide range of career paths.
4- The teaching staff offers
- wide ranging experience, up-to-date knowledge
of the language and its use, a commitment to - achieve students potential and a positive

- activities, cultural exposure through tasks
beyond the classroom - the opportunity to become involved in exchange
