• Informational Briefing
• Brief the CIO Council on EMC estimates for NOAA
  LDAP costs

• As part of email consolidation, DOC intends to
  create a central directory service
• scope not decided
• Used for DOC Enterprise applications only, not
  replacing agency directories for anything except
  collaboration, or
• Used for Agency-specific applications, replacing
  agency directories

• NOAA CIO Council has requested information on
  NOAAs costs for running directory services
• In the future the CIO Council may decide that
  NOAA needs to continue running its LDAP Directory
