• To be involved in the progression of assts
  through their daily work and at RCSLT
• To ensure that assistants are involved in the
  governance process

• To encourage others to join RCSLT and its
  governance boards

• Working group set up earlier this year
• Group has met 3 times, more meetings planned for
  next year
• Consultation process has just begun, will run for
  a month
• Group members will discuss process today
