The CMIST security model uses a Role-based
security methodology. The security levels
deployed are driven by the access required
through profile roles to which a Web visitor has
permissions. Retina and finger print security
technologies are probably not required to change
the Email address of a CMIST Developer but is
definitely required to alter a manufacturing
process of a highly secure environment.
The power of the CMIST wrapper is not in the
security technologies themselves, as these are
constantly changing, but in the ability to assign
the latest technologies to the Role Profiles that
are assigned to the Visitor Community.
