Aim of Module
  • The major aim of this module is to enable
    students to further develop their skills in
    international strategic analysis to the level
    where they will be able to carry out an effective
    assessment of international issues facing any
    firm.
  • The module will do this by requiring students to
    integrate their previous studies through carrying
    out a comprehensive international strategic
    analysis of a company-related international

Module Objectives
  • On successful completion of this module students
    will be able to
  • Obtain key international information
  • Organise and then analyse the information using a
    variety of functional and strategic
    perspectives.
  • Comment on the history of the issue and then
    develop scenarios reflecting future strategic
    options.
  • Develop a report on the company and make a
    presentation to the company based on the report.

    studied modules to carry out its analysis in the

  • A peer, self-assessed, and externally examined
    group presentation. (30)
  • Comprising approx. 40 acetates and will last up
    to 40 minutes.
  • To be made to a panel made up of external and
    internal members.
  • A written report supporting the presentation.
