1999, with an area of 60 km2. It is desert land
located 10 km away from Cairo.

to achieve three main goals
  • The first goal is to eliminate all the
    accumulated wastes from the protectorate.
  • The second goal is to move the recycling
    activity based within or near the protectorate to
    another area.
  • The third goal is to encourage local people,
    NGOs and students to visit the wadi and help to
    remove the wastes.
