Assessment

• Your composition will count as one test grade
  towards the 1st quarter average.
• You will be assessed using a Rubric- this is a
  checklist for you to follow throughout the entire
  writing process.

Meets standard

• Student follows directions and produces all
  requirements.
• Composition is one page in length, typed-double
  spaced (12 pitch), in Spanish.
• It has a title and is separated into paragraphs
  of alike ideas.
• It contains no more than 5 errors.

Exceeds standard

• Student must first meet the standard
• The composition contains no more than 2 errors.
  (nearly perfect)
• Student adds appropriate clipart according to
  topic.
• Student combines the two topics.
• If you exceed on the first try, A)

Composition

• Students will have three opportunities to meet
  the standard or if they so choose, once they have
  met the standard, they can work to exceed the
  standard.
• There is, however a deadline...

• Keep in mind the composition is a way to showcase
  what you have learned so far.
• Dont be afraid to ask questions.
