Introduction

• I hope to learn about why Marco Polo wanted to
  sail the sea. I also want to learn what made him
  a great sailor. I hope to learn this by the end
  of this slide show.

Marco Polos trip to china

• Marco Polo was traveling at the age of 17with
  his father and uncle. They went to China to see
  if they could get goods and sell them. It took
  them 4 years to get to China from Venice Italy.
  He was 41 when he got to Venice again. Marco Polo
  didnt just go to China he also went to Middle
  East, India, and Asia.

Daily life During the Trip

• Marco Polo would keep a journal with stories
  about his trips. He would tell how the Chinese
  used coal and would tell about the great ruler of
  china, Great Kublai Khan.
