1Video Story Project
2Create a PowerPoint slide show about one of the
following Movies Fashion Sports
3You will have a minimum of 20 slides. Your last
slide will have all the search sites.
4The first slide will include The Project
Title Your Name
5Use pictures (.jpg) and facts from 1990 to the
present to tell a video story.
6You can select pictures and facts on MOVIES,
SPORTS or FASHION.
7You may use a caption to describe your pictures.
You can use only one solid background.
8WORD ART for title page only. No GRADIENT
COLORS No RED (except accents)
9-- You can use pictures from the internet.
(must be saved as .jpg)
10-- You will now write the dialogue for each
photo. -- Click at the bottom of the screen
Click to add notes and write your dialogue for
the slide. (must have your voice on each slide)
11-- Once the PowerPoint is complete with pictures,
captions and backgroundit will be saved as .JPG
files. -- Select File/Save As Change Save as
Type to JPEG File Interchange Format Save in
your folder... Under correct name -- Print your
PowerPoint as NOTEPAGES (so you can see the
script)
12-- Go to Start -- Select Programs -- Select Photo
Story 3 for Windows -- Select Begin a new story
13-- Select Import Pictures -- Select all the
.jpg files created from the PowerPoint (waitit
will say Importing pictures for your
story). -- Select Save Project Save in your
folder with the correct project name.
14-- All the pictures will now be in your
project. -- Select Next -- If you forgot to
add text you can do it hereotherwise, select
Next Remember to save your project if you added
text. -- Time to narrate your project.
15-- Go to the narration station setup in the
classroom. -- Make sure you have your NOTEPAGE
printout with you. -- Press the red dot button
to begin your narration (read from your script at
the bottom of the picture). -- Press the stop
button when you finish reading the script.
16-- Click on the next picture and repeat the
narration process for each picture you wish to
narrate. Remember to Save the Project! -- When
finished with all the narrationsSelect Next.
17You will include appropriate background music
(.wav file or MP3) from the internet.
18-- Now add background music to your
presentation. You can select from the internet
or bring music from a CDall music used must be a
.WAV file or MP3 file. CD music can be converted
by the teacher.
19-- You will want to adjust the volume lower for
the music or you will not be able to hear your
narrations. Remember to Save the
Project! -- Select Save your story for playback
on your computer -- Select Browse and select
your drive/folder. -- Type the correct file name,
press ENTER.
20-- It will now start Building Your
Story---wait -- Make note of the File
name, Location. -- Select View your story GREAT
JOB!
21-- Before exiting the software --- To edit/make
changes select back to get to the spot you want
to change. Remember to save often!
22Remember to document each site you took pictures
from on your last slide!
