• The ISPC affords the opportunity to create a plan
  to accomplish great things.

The Focus of the ISP

• Exploring each students dreams and aspirations
• Exploring what it means to set goals
• Learning about setting long range and short range
  goal setting
• Students have the opportunity to discover what
  their talents, abilities, and strengths are
• Discovering academic aspirations, career
  exploration, and personal and social skills
• Opening the lines of communication between
  parents and students

Individual Student Plan

• The plan will be created over the school year in
  the form of a portfolio
• The portfolio will include
• Learning Styles Inventory
• Multiple Intelligence Inventory
• WINNS results for the school
• Individual student goals from primary teachers
  and specialists
• Parental input including questionnaires regarding
  students strengths, parents expectations and
  beliefs, and parental values
• WKCE Results and cop
• Comprehensive School Counseling Curriculum
• Expectations and beliefs
• Lessons on goal setting
• Learning about our Core Values Respect,
  Responsibility, Compassion, Courage, Honesty,
  Justice

• Introduce Plan and Conference concept to students
• Present letter to parents regarding the plan and
  conference
• Create display and present materials at first
  Parent/Teacher conference
• Work on portfolio during Comprehensive Counseling
  Program
• Set up individual conference times for Spring
  Parent/Teacher Conference
