• Infinet is a company that specializes in
  networking all across the Southern United States.
  We are strongly committed to supplying TTI with a
  network for its four new campuses as well as its
  current headquarters that will supersede TTIs
  needs with system reliability.

  TTI the most crucial assumptions that we believe
  can have the highest impact on the length of this

• The IP addressing scheme is designed to be able
  to view an IP address and determine whether it
  belongs to a Student or Administrator workstation
  and what campus it belongs to.

• The security of TTIs network will primarily
  rely on physical security and continuous
  monitoring. Tools such as Nagios and MRTG are
  suggested to use for monitoring the network.

• The Active Directory structure for TTI will be
  very simple. The root domain will be tti.edu and
  all campuses will be sub-domains. For example,
  dallas.tti.edu for the Dallas campus.

• Training will be extremely thorough and
  simultaneous at each campus.
• Once the 10 day support goes into effect,
  Infinet strongly encourages TTI to push its
  network to test for bugs and bottlenecks.

• The highest risks that this project faces are
  the arrival and quality of hardware. Any damaged
  hardware or late arrivals could increase the
  length of the project significantly.

• Backups are important!
• Power Backups.
• Houston West, Dallas, San Antonio, and Austin
  campuses will use NAS drives for nightly backups.

• Cost Analysis

• In our proposal we have given TTI options such
  as the client workstations, backup solutions, and
  WAN connections.
• These options have allowed Infinet to give a bid
  range of 1,769,487 to 2,425,751 allowing for
  TTI to customize their network and also meet
  their budget.

WAN Options
T1 or an ISDN connection for Houston West. We
recommend the T1 for increased bandwidth and
consistency. T3 or a Frame Relay connection for
Houston Main Campus. We recommend the T3
connection to allow for an increase in WAN
throughput.
