2French I Unit 3 - Adjectives
Look at the picture on the right. Think of some
words that could describe the girl. Words that
are used for descriptions are called adjectives.
In this lesson, you will learn some adjectives in
French. Just like in English, describing someone
in French is as simple as saying He is tall or
She is blond. In French, we would use the verb
être, which weve already learned. Recall that
He is would be Il est, and She is would
be Elle est.
