Overview

• A department under the Public Services.
• The most significant collection of Asia-related
  materials in the Pacific.
• Acquires print and non-print materials published
  in and about the 22 countries of East, South and
  Southeast Asia.
• Resources include monographs, microforms,
  periodicals, electronic products, and special and
  rare materials.

Librarians

• The Asia Collection has 6 areas China, Japan,
  Korea, Philippines, South Asia, and South East
  Asia.
• One Area Specialist Librarian for each area.
• Tasks include collection development,
  specialized reference, bibliographic instruction,
  Website maintenance, and supporting cataloging,
  acquisition, gifts exchanges, preservation.
