Theories
  • Organize yourselves into 5 groups.
  • Task each group will be responsible for
    researching a particular theorist and prepare an
    outline to share with the rest of the class. The
    outline will be put on chart paper and posted at
    the front of the classroom. You will have 30
    minutes to prepare and 5 minutes to share the
    information with the class.

Characteristics of the Junior/Intermediate
Student
  • Divide yourselves into 8 groups 4 groups for
    junior and 4 groups for intermediate)
  • Task Each group will focus on one aspect of
    development for their division. Research this
    aspect and develop a list of characteristics. You
    will have 15 minutes to prepare and 5 minutes to
    share with the class.

Collaborate
  • Assemble in pairs.
  • This time, each pair will focus on one aspect of
    development, but there will be a representative
    from each division. Therefore, one person from
    the junior physical group will partner with one
    person from the intermediate physical group.
  • Create a Venn diagram illustrating the
    similarities and differences.
