• Radar combined w/ Identification Friend or Foe
  (IFF)can look down to detect, identify and track
  enemy and friendly low-flying aircraft by
  eliminating ground clutter that confuse other
  radar systems.

  (PDNES)surveillance of airborne targets
• Pulse Doppler Elevation Scan (PDES)determines
  target elevation
• Beyond the Horizon Pulse Radar Mode

  detect surface ships
