• Background
• The Khairat fund, formerly known as Staff
  Exigency Fund
• (SEF) was established in 1985 by its
  founder, Allahyarham
• Y.Bhg.Tan Sri Prof. Datuk Ahmad Mohamed
  Ibrahim.
• All contribution to SKF fund are voluntary and
  the minimum
• amount is RM2.00 per month.
• The fund is managed by the Employee Benefits
  and Labor
• Relations Unit, Management Services
  Division.

• Objectives
• To be a channel/platform for fund members to
  gain
• rewards from Allah SWT (sadaqah).
• To provide assistance to the IIUM Staff who are
  members
• of the Fund in time of need.
• To jointly contribute towards the welfare of
  the members
• of the Fund.
• To strengthen the feeling of togetherness in
  time of need
• among member of the Fund.

• Eligibility
• All registered staffs who have signed the
  application from
• consenting on the monthly salary deduction.
• Each staff member may apply for the fund for
  more than once.
• Application shall be made within 1 year from the
  date of the
• event / incident.
• New applicants will only be eligible for
  assistance (benefits)
• after 2 months of contributions.
• The total amount approved will be considered on
  case-to-case
• basis.

• To become a member, just fill in the salary
  deduction form and submit to the Khairat
  Secretariat,
• Management Services Division.
• Once become a member, you may apply for these
  benefits and application form is available at
• Management Services Division and at all
  Kulliyyah / Center / Department.
