    progressing smoothly. Besides referring to the
    relevant specifications or drafts issued by
    international SDOs, CCSA also works on building
    some specifications based on requirements from
    China market.

Strategic Direction
  • Continue to develop specifications of NGN in CCSA
  • While Convergence has been a marked trend, CCSA
    will pay attention to its influence on current
    and new specifications, not only FMC, but also
    the convergence of telecom network and internet,
    the convergence of legacy telecom services with
    content-based services, and so on.
  • Develop and motivate the research in new
    technical domains
  • UC(Unified Communications)related specifications
    have and are going on
  • M2M or Ubiquitous Network related
    specifications are under consideration
  • Combination of P2P and NGN
  • N-ID, IDM aspect, etc.

Strategic Direction (Con.)
  • Research on new solutions, such as PTDN, Future
    internet.
  • Develop specifications related to EC, security
    protection, and ICT(Energy Saver and Exhaust
    Reducer ) in NGN scope
  • Continue coordination and collaboration, take
    part in the relevant activities and meetings,
    establish smooth relationship with other SDOs
  • Share CCSA view
  • Being involved and delivering contributions

    industries, etc. The scope of NGN is being
    enlarged.
