Introduction

• The students at your school would like to include
  some candy in the vending machines. However, a
  law has been passed that will only allow
  healthy snacks. The student body has decided
  to petition the school board to include sweet,
  sugar options in the vending machines. The
  school board has requested further investigation
  before moving forward on this idea. The students
  must present to the board a detailed analysis of
  the nutritional values of some sweet snacks.

• You are on the student body board that is
  preparing for the school board meeting. Your
  team must research snack items and their sugar
  content in order to present the best options for
  the school. You will analyze the data and
  prepare several different types of graphs to
  present at the upcoming school board meeting.
  You will prepare your data in Graph Master. Your
  final presentation will be a PowerPoint, and it
  will include the graphs and analysis from your
  research.

  successful in convincing the school board to
  accept your proposal.

• Use Graph Master to graph the data you just
  collected. You should put the data in the form
  of bar graph.
• Copy the bar graph and put it in the PowerPoint
  presentation you are preparing.
• The PowerPoint presentation should include the
  bar graph and the answer the following questions
• Which candy has the least amount of sugar?
• Which candy contains the highest amount of sugar?
• How much more sugar content is the highest candy
  than the least candy?
• What are the top 3 candy choices you should
  recommend to include in the vending machine?
• What is the average amount of sugar in all of the
  items?
