train new, well-qualified employees in increasing
numbers more rapidly than ever before - There is no one unique and/or best way of
training these employees - Online training is definitely a growing trend,
but methods of training have changed little in
the last 25 years - Biggest concerns are reflected in the basic
training for new technicians and improving job
performance - Outcomes are important to drive change. Reduced
downtime, Cost Savings, Improved efficiency
productivity of employees, and improved employee
retention are frequently noted - Increased interest in blended delivery of
training - Declining CD-ROM/Videotape-based training usage
