• The men worked on the farms, fields animals and
  crops.

• The women cooked, sewed,weaved clothes and took

  services! They also had worship houses!

Slavery

• Slavery . in each colony.20 of the thirteen
  colonies was of African decent.Not all but about
  60 of all African-Americans where slaves,in fact
  the first official United States cenus taken in
  1790 showed that 8 of the black populace was
  free. The majority of blacks living in Chesapeake
  worked on tobacco plantations and large farms
