2
Where is the Planet?
  • Neptune is the 8th planet from the sun.
Neptune is considered one of the most beautiful
planets with its amazing light blue color.
Neptune also has some pretty harsh weather. If
you look closely at this picture then you will
see an imperfection on its surface. This is a
large storm so if you dont like year round sun
then you can look forward to some rain too.

3
How Big is Neptune?
  • Neptune is 30,707 miles in diameter. Earth is
only 7,909 miles in diameter. So if you tired of
those small yards and of neighbors getting to
close. But you dont want a planet so big that
you could never get around to the other side of
it like Jupiter? Than Neptune is just the right
    size for you!

4
An interesting fact about Neptune
  • Neptunes center is made up of condensed
water. So if you move to Neptune then you will
have an unending supply of water. So there's no
more worry of if there is going to be enough
water like there is on other planets. Also the
scientists who where there before have dug deep
into the surface and have created a wave
generator. So if you want to surf then Neptunes
    the place to be!

5
Why would someone want to live there?
  • The amount of years that it takes for Neptune
to orbit the sun is about 164 years! Just imagine
how much you can get done in a year! You can
finally complete those New Years resolutions!

6
How long is a day on Neptune?
  • A day is about 16 hours on Neptune. That means
shorter school days and longer time shorter time
to do chores and other things you dont like
    doing.

7
How old would you be on Neptune?
  • If you where 10 then you wouldnt even be
close to being a year old on Neptune. So if
youre an elderly person and your looking for the
fountain of youth then youve found it in
    Neptune!

8
What is the average temperature?
  • Are you not the kind of person who likes hot?
Do you like snow and ice? Are you always waiting
for winter to roll around? Well wait no longer
and come to Neptune. The average temperature is
-360 F. Be in a winter wonder land all year
    round!

9
What is Neptune made out of?
  • Neptune has a large rocky core in the middle.
Surrounding that is highly compressed water.
Outside of that is the surface which is made up
of liquid molecular hydrogen and helium. So since
you cant live on any of the surfaces on Neptune
then you will be the first to have a floating
house! So if you love flying and the feeling of
being airborne then Neptune is the planet for
    you!

10
What does it look like on the surface of Neptune?
  • There really is no surface on Neptune but
there is a rocky core when you get through the
compressed water and the liquid molecule and
helium. So if you ever want to go back to earth
(we dont think you will) then you can be the
only person in that world with a rock from
Neptune! No more of those dumb rocks from that
tiny moon from earth! Bring home a genuine
    Neptune rock!

11
What does Neptune look like from the sky?
  • Neptune looks like a big, blue, glowing
planet from the sky. But for millions of years
there has been an imperfection on the surface.
That is an endless storm. Scientists have
harnessed the energy from this storm and it is
now used to power all of the people of Neptunes
homes. No more energy crisis like on earth. On
Neptune you will never run out of electricity.

12
What is an interesting fact about Neptune?

Neptune has small almost invisible rings. These
rings are made up of many different things and
the scientists have set up a campground on these
rings. So if your tired of those campsites that
are to close to your house then you can literally
go out of you planet and camp on some great rings.
13
Why would someone want to live there?
  • Are you tired of those soaring gas prices
and high food prices? Are you feed up with that
Earth government telling you what to do all the
time? Well then come to Neptune! On Neptune there
is no set government yet. And because of all the
recent trips to Neptune there is a large surplus
    of food and gas!

14
How many moons does Neptune have?
  • Neptune has 8 moons. But only a few of them
are large enough to see from Earth. So if your
just never alone on your vacations then come live
on Neptune. On Neptune there are many moon that
you can go vacation at and you will never fell
that the place is over populated!

15
How much would you weigh on Neptune?
  • If you felling just a little bit under weight
but you dont want to weight to much? Come to
Neptune! If you were to come live here then you
would only weigh almost 10 pounds heavier.

16
How did Neptune get its name?
  • King Neptune is a water god from the Roman
mythology. Early scientists that found Neptune
saw its blue color and thought that it was ocean
    so they called it Neptune.

17
What is an interesting fact about Neptune?
  • Are you one of those people who love jewelry?
Well Neptune is the place for you! The first
thing that you will notice when you get there is
how its raining giant diamonds! Collect them and
you can become the richest person ever!

18
Why would someone want to live on Neptune?
  • On Neptune there is no crime. This is possible
by a constant flow of different Satellites that
have been set up on the planet to constantly veiw
the surface. So if you cant stand having to live
with crime in your life then come to Neptune!
