• They raised They planted
  fields of
• Horses corn
• Goats beans
• Sheep squash
• Navajo life became difficult after the whites
  wanted to stop them raising sheep. So they
  couldnt support themselves. Many of them had to
  settle in cities.

Daily Life

• They created a promising future for themselves.
• They do not wish to lose of sight of the
  important Navajo principles of supporting family
  and community.
