• The Navajo hunted mammoths until they became
  extinct. Then they hunted buffalo also known as
  bison.They also collected wild plants for
  food.The Navajo grew maize and corn.

• The Navajo made lots of jewelry.They also made
  pottery out of clay.The Navajo also weaved
  clothes for traditional ceremonies.

• The Navajos homes are called Hogan. These
  Hogan's are wooden houses made from mud and logs.

• One ceremony of the Navajo is the Mountain Chant.
  There are many more like Hosteer Klah,
  Married ceremonies, Women Hood
  ceremonies,and the Sun Eagle.

• The location of the Navajo are a potion of
  southern Utah, Northern New Mexico,and parts of
  Northern Arizona.
