• OSA
• Prepares students for office-related positions
  such as administrative assistant, executive
  assistant, legal assistant, medical secretary,
  receptionist, data entry, desktop publishing
  specialist, PC help desk, and office manager.

• MIS
• Prepares students for positions in programming
  (PC or midrange computers), Web development, and
  e-commerce develop-ment.

• Overview of Internet basics.
• Fundamentals of browsers and the World Wide Web,
  e-mail, and other Internet utilities.

• This course is a prerequisite for future Internet
  programming courses.
• Prepares students for i-Net certification.

MIS 105, Programming Principles

• This course is designed as a fundamental course
  for students continuing their studies in
  programming.
• MIS 105 is a prerequisite for all other MIS
  programming courses.

Keyboarding Courses

• If you lack keyboarding skills or if you want to
  improve your keyboarding skills
• OSA 100, Keyboarding I (1 or 3 credits)
• OSA 104, Keyboarding Speed and Accuracy (1
  credit). OSA 100 or its equivalent is a
  prerequisite.
