Policies - Safety
  • Distributed safety rules must be observed at ALL
    TIMES
  • All students must be prepared prior to working in
    the lab.
  • Complete pre-lab assignment
  • Attend pre-lab presentation
  • Failure to observe the safety policies of the
    University of Dayton chemistry department will
    result in dismissal from the lab

Policies Attendance
  • Laboratory procedures must be completed at
    designated class time.
  • Facilities and resources do not allow for
    make-ups.
  • More than two missed procedures will result in a
    failing grade.

Policies Lecture is co-requisite
  • If the CHM123 lecture course is dropped prior to
    October the CHM123L must also be dropped.
  • If CHM123 lecture is dropped after October 21 the
    student may remain in the CHM123L if the
    following conditions are met.
  • The student has missed no more than one lab.
  • The student has submitted all lab reports
  • The student has a lab course average of 70 or
    greater.
