The mandible is the real name for your jaw. It
is attached to your skull with a hinge joint. It
also holds your teeth.

The mandible is part of the skeletal system.

• The skeletal system includes all the bones in the
  body like these.
• Skull
• Humerus
• Radius
• Ulna
• Ribs
• Femur
• Pelvis
• Spine

Your skeleton gives your body shape. It is made
of bones and cartilage. Cartilage is what
cushions the bones when they touch each other.
If you didnt have your skeleton to hold your
body up, you would look like a pile of Jello.
