• We will be tracking tropical storms and
  hurricanes that occur in the southern Atlantic
  Ocean

  each day and mark it on the map
• At the end, you will color your map
• It counts as a TEST grade!

• Find the LATITUDE
• The lines run
• ACROSS the page

• Find the LONGITUDE
• The lines run
• UP AND DOWN

• Make a point where the two lines meet
• Write the DATE beside each point
• Beside the FIRST point of each storm, write the
  NAME of the storm.

• You will connect all the points of THE SAME STORM
  with a line of a unique color
• You will make a key to indicate the color of each
  storm

• With a green pencil, color the LAND only
• You will update your HT chart each day when you
  come into the classroom. You should get out your
  chart and write the appropriate information right
  away.

  water with a blue pencil.
