• CAMPAIGN DATES Monday 21 May Sunday 3 June
  2007 (2 weeks)
• WHO All who manifest weight-related symptoms,
  are proactively seeking weight-related lifestyle
  advice or are asking about relevant pharmacy
  services e.g. BP and cholesterol testing, and
  products, medicines or medical equipment

• ADVERTISE Please display the posters on doors
  or in windows and offer information and
  signposting as appropriate
• ASK INDIRECT QUESTIONS Start by asking indirect
  questions (because of sensitivities around
  weight) e.g.
• Have you seen our campaign / advertisement
  regarding weight management?
• We are offering our customers the opportunity to
  check if their weight is within the healthy range
  would you like advice and/ or help with this?
• ASK DIRECT QUESTIONS If customers has indicated
  an interest e.g.
• Have you checked your weight recently? do you
  know what it is?
• Are you happy with your weight?
• Are you following any special diets e.g. Atkins
  etc?
• ASSESS Using the PharmacyHealthLink card with
  the BMI table, help the customer to ascertain
  where s/he falls on the chart.
• ADVISE ASSIST Share advantages of maintaining
  a healthy weight and offer Top Tips for managing
  weight (using the PharmacyHealthLink card headed
  Top tips for managing your weight
