STEWARDS (1)

• A civilian engaged by the organiser to receive
  and to escort the spectators during football
  matches in order to guarantee their safety and
  security in the stadium

• Civilians

• Work for the club

• In the stadium

Tasks (1)

• Help spectators enter the stadium
• Superficial checks of clothes and luggage
• Confiscate forbidden objects
• Refuse access to offenders of the ground
  regulation
• Hospitality and escort of spectators to the seats
• Prevent the spectators from entering prohibited
  areas
• If necessary, escort of referees and players from
  dressing rooms to the ground and the way back

Tasks (2)

• Check the application of the ground regulations
• Inspection of the facilities before and after
  the match
• Information to spectators about the
  organisation, the facilities and the medical
  services
• Take preventive action in any situation which is
  likely to threaten public order
