Explicit Tasking

• Develop an observation system architecture
• Baseline (state today)
• Target architecture (future state10-20 years)
• Base prospective observing systems on validated
  requirements
• Investigate system consolidation
• Conduct a systemic review of all observing
  systems considering the following factors
• Required system characteristics
• Number of and types of system users
• Capital asset value and recurring maintenance
  costs

Create a New Survey Document

• Click here to create a survey document for each
  Observing System
• We will have other survey templates available to
  capture information for each platform,
  environmental parameter, etc.

Creating the Survey Document

• Enter name of Survey Document here (one document
  per Observing System)
• Please use naming convention as noted above (ie,
  LLL-AAA)
• Click on Create button to start

• Survey Type and Creation Date
• Timestamp of last update

• Summary Page for this document lists the pages
  in this survey document and the questions on each
  page
• Click on name of the page to start answering
  survey questions
