4Assembly document
- Assembly document is almost finished.
- Definition of proper soldering and proper
crimping by defining the correct tools. - It shows cabling schemes and pictures of each
kind of DC/DC converter and S9011 board. - It defines cable twisting and application of
cable ties. - It shows the application of the terminal blocks
and terminal block fixture.

Better sollution. Which kind of lug, pure tin

Current QM2 model
S9011AUv2 - DC/DC converter connections.General
rule No conductor should be kept unconnected in
space. gtChanges to QM2 model.
Wires, which are not used are pulled to ground
7S9011B
The U system is supplied by one 28V power port
with a 4-time cable redundancy.
8Soldering
- Soldering on the DC/DC converter pins is a
delicate test which requires good workmanship. - Generally only two wires can be soldered on one
pin - Soldering and desoldering cables from those pins
multiple times should be avoided since the pins
can be damaged.
9Backplane Shielding
Wires coming from the UPD-Box will be crimped to
gold plated ring lugs and screwed to the power
bugs on the backplane. For UBP a maximum of
three wires will be screwed to one power
bug. All DC/DC converter voltages are referenced
to each other by connections of the converter
grounds to shield.
