Tips for using telnet OLIS

• Press first letter of the command to highlight it
• In place in a bookstack, Available
  lending copy on open shelf, Confined on open
  shelf but library use only
• OPAC parms is used to search holdings of a
  specific library (use ?? to see full list)
• Economics theses and dissertations can be found
  using aUniversity of Oxford. Dept. of Politics
  and International Relations. Thesis
• Cursor does not move when you type your password!

Type in number under the barcode on your
University Card. Password Your date of birth,

ASR (Automated Stack Request)

• Used to request material from bookstacks to
  reading rooms / ASR libraries
• Material from Bodleian Bookstack and Bodleian
  Nuneham can be requested to the Social Science
  Library Issue Desk
• Taught postgraduates 5 items at a time,
  research postgraduates 10 items at a time
• Library use only
• Items kept behind desk 7 days once delivered (can
  be renewed when returned to the Issue Desk or
  using OLIS)
• 2 deliveries per day, 9am and 2pm, Mon-Fri
